Bola Tinubu has capacity, better than Peter Obi: Doyin Okupe

President Bola Tinubu was the finest presidential candidate to run in the 2023 election, according to Doyin Okupe, Director-General of the Peter Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization.

“Let me tell you, of all the people who ran for president in 2023, by the benefit of hindsight, Bola Tinubu is the best,” Mr. Okupe stated in a Friday night interview with Channels TV.

Praiseing Mr. Tinubu for his excellent work as the former governor of Lagos, Mr. Okupe disregarded Mr. Obi, the PDP’s nominee for governor in 2023, and Atiku Abubakar as being less knowledgeable and capable than Mr. Tinubu.

“With the benefit of hindsight, I’ve worked with Atiku Abubakar and I’ve seen Peter Obi.” Long back, I knew Bola Tinubu. However, many continue to underestimate the amount of work he accomplished in Lagos in terms of skill, capability, expertise, and devotion. He did an amazing job, according to Mr. Okupe.

He went on to say that it would be premature to evaluate Mr. Tinubu’s performance in office after just a year in office, pleading with Nigerians to allow the president more time to improve the nation.

Not long after the 2023 election, Mr. Okupe left his position as part of Mr. Obi’s team, citing ideological disagreements.
