Recent recruitment List Flooded With Non-Applicants, marred by corruption – Nigeria Police Force
Concerned about anomalies and purported corruption in the names of the selected candidates for the ongoing 2022–2023 Police Constable Recruitment Exercise, the Nigeria Police Force has issued a warning.
The development was detailed in a statement that Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi released and made accessible to BETA NEWS on Saturday.
According to the statement, candidates who failed the computer-based test, Nigerians who never applied, and those screened out for medical reasons made it to the final list after close examination of the list made available on the Police Service Commission (PSC) online.
BETA NEWS recollects that the PSC declared on June 4 that a list of 10,000 qualified candidates for the constable and specialist cadre positions had been approved and released.
On June 10, the Inspector General of Police, citing the found anomalies, sent a letter to the Chairman of the Commission objecting to the list.
