Euro 2024: Roy Keane names three favourites to win trophy

Three players are favored to win Euro 2024, according to former Manchester United captain Roy Keane.

Keane believes Portugal’s chances of winning the tournament are slim.

Rather, he listed his three favorites as Germany, France, and England.

The hosts of this year, Germany, thrashed Scotland 5-1 on Friday to start Euro 2024.

Sunday night will see England kick off their Group C campaign against Serbia, while Monday night will see France take on Austria in Group D.

In response to an inquiry regarding Portugal’s prospects, Keane said ITV, “I don’t fancy them.”

“It’s clear that they have excellent, gifted attacking players.

“But once more, I retreat to defense; France, England, and Germany are ahead of me.”
