‘Nigeria needs urgent spiritual help to solve Economic Hardship’ – Pastor Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, or RCCG, stated that Nigeria urgently needs spiritual help to solve its current problems.

Adeboye gave a speech in Kaduna on Sunday while visiting Uba Sani, the governor of the state.

“I’m thrilled to be here again,” he murmured. When the former governor and I visited this place around two years ago, I came to pray for some of my members who had been kidnapped and had thankfully been saved. I arrived to urge their relatives to reassure them that everything will be alright.

This time, I’ve returned because it’s becoming increasingly evident to us that the issue facing our country is not only political. We will need to find some spiritual help to our difficulties.

“As a nation, we are blessed with a wealth of resources, intelligent people, and a variety of other blessings, but we also face a great deal of challenges,” he said.

And it’s not like those in positions of authority aren’t making an effort on the contrary, they’re doing everything within their power. And that’s when we discovered that you turn to God for help when you have issues that are too big for humans to handle. He can fix any difficulty, which is why we refer to Him as Almighty.

We have so been making our meagre attempts to assist the numerous governments and parastatals in their pleas to God to intervene on our behalf, as we are in dire need of assistance. We require assistance immediately.

“Because despite the best efforts of our leaders to assist us in resolving our issues, the issues appear to have remained, and in certain places, they appear to be becoming worse. However, we have faith in the All-Powerful God that these issues will pass. We have faith that the issue will be resolved as quickly as possible.

“For this reason, we have been travelling around conducting crusades, which are really a way for us to get people together and tell them that everything will be okay tomorrow if we can just be a little more patient with God. We really think that in order for people to maintain hope, they require this kind of support.

We don’t want a situation where people start thinking about ending their own lives. Many of our youth, for example, are fleeing the country, forgetting that the places they are fleeing to also have problems. For those who are unable to flee, we don’t want them to do strange things when they lose hope.

There have been numerous instances of people driving to the long bridge in Lagos and plunging into the lagoons. The people who were saved before they drowned claimed they couldn’t see the future, but we reassure them that God is in charge and would not abandon our country.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration “needs prayers and the support of clerics like you to succeed,” Governor Uba Sani informed the visiting clergy.
