Tinubu calls for sacrifice, unity in Eid-el-Kabir message

President Bola Tinubu has asked Muslim believers to ponder on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, which represents sacrifice, faith, and obedience to the will of the Almighty.

“The President congratulates the Muslim faithful and prays that Allah accepts their supplications and acts of obedience,” said Ajuri Ngelale, special assistant to the president for media and publicity, in a statement issued in Abuja Saturday.

Mr Tinubu urged Nigerians to consider the spirit of the occasion, which has deep meaning and significance for the country.

The president emphasized the importance of sacrifice and duty in nation-building, “noting that it takes collective purpose, will, and action to bring about great change.”

He urged citizens to pray for the country’s ongoing peace and stability while working with the goal of promoting unity, peace, and progress.

“The President recognizes Nigerians’ sacrifices over the last year as his administration positions the country for long-term prosperity and development.

“President Tinubu affirms that citizens’ sacrifices and high expectations will not be in vain, as positive outcomes are already manifesting, with the economy strengthening and vibrancy returning to critical sectors.”
