Transfer: Sudanese club, Al Merreikh unveil Nigeria’s Ojo Olorunleke
Sudanese giants Al Merreikh Omdurman unveiled Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke on Tuesday, according to BETA NEWS.
Al Merreikh and Olorunleke have signed a two-year pact.
But before formally joining the Red Devils, the 28-year-old had to wait until the conclusion of the 2023–2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The goalkeeper’s final game for Enyimba was last month’s 2-0 triumph against Plateau United.
Olorunleke will be playing for a club outside of Nigeria for the first time.
Olorunleke has previously played for notable NPFL teams, including the Sunshine Stars, Akwa United, Kano Pillars, and Abia Warriors.
He played goalkeeping for Nigeria in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire as their third choice.
